I should've mentioned that the flats were only partly complete. Only one quarter of the whole block was completely finished. That's mostly there but the roof is completely gone and the whole area, including my kitchen with the window that doesn't close properly, reeks of smoke. Then there's the ash . . .
They didn't evacuate Sainsburys, which is the building on the left, even though the wind was blowing that way. Fortunately that was the opposite direction to my flat. My flat is in the block on the right hand side of the photos.
